Clubs

We offer two blocks of free, after-school clubs. These vary and include sports, art, games, curriculum related support such as phonics, reading, science, homework and handwriting, as well as other areas of interest teachers may have that they wish to pass on to pupils. A paid club programme is also available.

All our Y1 to Y9 pupils access the swimming pool for a block of six lessons, each year. HISV has a swimming team with a dedicated, professional trainer. They complete in Vientiane and at international swim meets.

Parent Involvement

We are very keen for parents to be involved with the school. We invite parents to our Christmas show, Sports days, International Day fair, Heathfield’s Got Talent Final and university information evenings.

In addition to twice-weekly PE lessons, HISV offers after-school Sport clubs and training sessions for the ultimate sporting experience. Clubs include Football, Basketball, Tennis and Swimming.

Community

We look for ways to connect with the greater Vientiane community. Our pupils lead many initiatives to raise money to help those less fortunate. Our primary pupils visit a local school to give out holiday boxes to spread happiness at Christmas time.
